- As Wisconsin public schools adopt state-mandated curriculum aligned with the Science of Reading (SoR), what can public libraries do to support parents and teachers? What resources might they be looking for? In this session, you’ll learn about the Science of Reading. We’ll talk about the ways libraries already support SoR through Every Child Ready to Read, and then share the adjustments libraries are making to support Act 20.

- SAGE is an artist advocacy organization, focusing our efforts around building a culture and thriving ecosystem for the arts in Brown County, WI. Members meet to communicate opportunities, develop programming led by artists to engage the community, and offer peer to peer mentorship as it pertains to creative entrepreneurship. SAGE founder, Stacey Von Busch, will share her experiences advocating for the arts, creating community through shared art spaces and programs, and inspire you with the ways that expanding art programming in your library can build connection for all ages.

- Ebb & Flow Connections Cooperative is a heart-centered organization dedicated to changing how we connect and interact with one another through training, events, and listening spaces that encourage people to be their whole, creative, and resourceful selves. Lynn and Karen will share tools to help us better understand Compassion Fatigue, Burnout, and Boundaries. Learn how building meaningful connections can actually be the best prevention for burnout and compassion fatigue. Leave with skills to help you move into 2025 ready to take care of yourself!
