  •    9:00-10:00am - book browsing and light refreshments
  •    10:00-11:30am - Great New Books for Children, Preschool - Grade 12
  •    11:30am-1pm - Lunch - free pizza lunch provided or enjoy dining at one of many downtown Green Bay restaurants
  •    1:00-2:30pm - Intellectual Freedom Training and statewide update from CCBC staff
  •     2:30-3:00pm - book browsing

Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC) librarians will talk about great new books for children and teens, highlighting selected titles from the CCBC Choices 2024 list. Books published in 2023 that are included in CCBC Choices 2024 will be available for hands-on examination. The list will not be distributed in print format; instead, you may download CCBC Choices 2024 as a PDF (coming in 2024!).

The Cooperative Children's Book Center (CCBC), located on the UW-Madison campus, serves as a children's literature noncirculating library for adults, a book examination center, and a research library. It is supported by an annual contract with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Division for Libraries and Technology.

This workshop is sponsored by the Northeastern Wisconsin (NEWI) library systems – Manitowoc-Calumet Library System, Nicolet Federated Library System, Outagamie-Waupaca Library System, and Winnefox Library System.
