Presenter: Dr. Dipesh Navsaria is a pediatrician at American Family Children’s Hospital who is deeply involved in Reach Out and Read, an initiative that makes literacy promotion a standard part of pediatric primary care, so that children grow up with books and a love of reading. With graduate degrees in public health, children’s librarianship, physician assistant studies, and medicine, he bring together a unique combination of interests and experience. His professional life sits at the intersection of pediatrics, child development, economics, education, neuroscience, public policy, psychology, children's literature, and public librarianship.
